I had never heard of Randy Pausch until I stumbled upon this video of his last lecture, presented earlier this year to Carnegie Mellon University in the US.
But I am so glad I found it.
Straight up, you should know that it has nothing to do with photography; but I really recommend you take a look when you have a bit of spare time.
And please, tell me what you think.

Hi - I watched this. Quite upsetting. Very humbling - made me cry and what a guy. Reminds you that sometimes this is a cruel world we live in......

Thanks for checking the video out. You're right, it is very humbling, and the way he handled his condition should stand as a lesson to us all.
I have no problem admitting that I'm with you on this one - I had a few tears towards the end, especially around the Birthday cake bit.
Did you know that he also wrote a book, based around this last lecture? I ordered a copy straight away - I'll let you know what it's like.
